Tift Merritt (born January 8, ) is an Americansinger, guitarist and songwriter.
Born in Houston, Texas, Merritt moved to Raleigh, North Carolina at a young age. She has been compared to songwriters like Joni Mitchell[2] and Emmylou Harris.[3]
